For the first 2 years I tried a TON of diets, one after another… 

Low fat diet, the Atkins, Blood type diet, South beach diet, Raw food diet… you name it... 

And what I found (and I’m sure you can relate to this) … all those different diets played out exactly the same way for me. I would start off excited and motivated, I would lose some weight and feel great about myself. 

But then at some point – whether it was a few weeks or a few months into whatever diet I was following - it would all come crashing down.
 
I’d end up going out and having a margarita (or two) …

Or hitting a buffet on a cruise trip…

And before I knew it… the diet was over, and the weight was coming back on...
Needless to say: My weight stayed the same all these years… 
I almost gave up…

Otherwise, it is not going to work!
The common mistakes that many keto-beginners make include:

  • ​eating too much dairy 
  • ​not drinking enough water
  • ​ and many more
All and each of the above mistakes will prevent you from getting into ketosis to burn fat!
I guess I ticked all these boxes...

And as a result, I could not switch my body into a fat-burning mode most of the time. 

And after a few weeks on keto, I started to lose my motivation… (yes, just like before!) …

... by hunting down recipes on the internet and trying to fit them together perfectly every day.

Way too often I found myself thinking about pizza, breads and sugars… 

I was feeling bloated all the time…

And then, to make things even worse...
the scale stopped going down…I hit a plateau for weeks that I just couldn’t break through…

My life became a disaster… 

I felt unmotivated and bored…. 

I was almost ready to throw in the towel and tell myself:

“well, Keto is not for me...”
